Dr. Adesioye is the Medical Director of PainDocAfrica Limited, founded to promote the practice of Pain and Interventional Spine Medicine across Africa, using Nigeria as a hub. He studied Medicine at the Olabisi Onabanjo University (then Ogun State University), Nigeria and proceeded to the UK for a Masters in Pharmacology and Biotechnology. He relocated to the USA to specialize in Anesthesiology at Howard University Hospital followed by a Pain Management Fellowship at Tuft University's Baystate Medical Center Program. He has since expanded his practice, skills and knowledge base with numerous training in Pain and Interventional Spine Medicine. He has been part of developing Pain Management clinics for multiple organizations in the USA including as Medical Director and a member of the Management and Executive leadership of some of these hospitals. He is a Board Certified Utilization Review and Quality Assurance Physician with Sub-Specialization as a Physician Advisor. His experience, including as a Physician Advisor spans many clinical specialties including Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse, Health Technology, Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety. Dr. Adesioye is the CEO of Utopian Health Services Ltd, an organization at the forefront of healthcare business advisory service in Nigeria for over 10 years. He is Certified by Yale in Healthcare Management, Cornell in Healthcare Leadership, Harvard in Improving Global Health (focus on Quality and Safety) and a member American Society for Health Care Engineering.
